Worm Time Dialogues follow the Wheel of the Year and are a gentle invitation to attune to the rhythms and cycles of nature, and explore your relationship to nature time. If you are feeling the weight of the fast-paced, productivity-focused, mechanistic experience of time, then this workshop is for you.
This Worm Time Dialogue will draw inspiration from the energy and wisdom available to us at Autumn Equinox. This Pagan and Celtic festival (taking place this year on 23rd September), is a threshold moment and marker between seasons as we start to prepare to move into the dark half of the year. Together we will explore what we can learn and experience by paying attention to nature's rhythms.

What is a Worm Time dialogue?
This workshop is an invitation to slow down, listen, reflect, share and connect with yourself, others and the world around you. It is grounded in the principles and practice of Bohm Dialogue - a facilitated listening practice that allows individuals to develop communication, thinking and relating skills and groups to deeply enquire together, share meaning and create new thinking. It combines this with the emergent philosophy of 'Worm Time.'
Worm Time, formerly known as ‘doing nothing,’ is a period of creative rest, where we can
-metabolise our experiences
-compost our thoughts and feelings
-turn over new ideas
Like the magically complex world that exists in the soil under our feet, allowing ourselves creative rest, is the time for the invisible ‘work’ to take place. The integration of our outer and inner worlds that allows us to feel balanced and whole. It is this journey back to wholeness that can allow us to feel ourselves as vital and thriving parts of the interconnected web of life.
Prioritising time to slow down and connect with others, in a space that gives permission to be your authentic self, can also be a powerful tool of resistance and replenishment in our current overly mechanistic and capitalistic cultures.
