Jessica is a hugely experienced facilitator with many methods and practices under her belt, and can co-design and deliver a completely bespoke event or process to suit an organisation's purpose. However, the values that made her stand out for us in our year long collaboration over many types of interactions, are her creativity and her passion to base conversations and activities on social justice and the fact that we are all human. If you'd like to be in safe, kind and creative hands, look no further! Myrto Williams, Operations and Strategy Lead, Eating Better Alliance
Jessica worked with the Eating Better team on refining our mission, vision and Theory of Change. She was diligent and focused on getting us over the line but ensured we did it with the right attention to detail. She brought new perspectives and challenges to our work which has brought big value to our overall strategy. Jessica is a pleasure to work with and we'd be happy to recommend her to anyone! Sarah Wakefield, Executive Director, Eating Better Alliance
Jessica is fantastic, I have now worked with her on three occasions and I appreciate her gifts and skills more each time. The most powerful testimony comee from our most recent workshop. The three most senior people there, all in their late 50s / early 60s *EACH* said, that it was one of the best workshops that they had been to. That sort of experience counts. It was so because of Jessica's thoughtfulness, careful preparation and wise, clear and firm-but-gentle leadership during the days itself. Do not miss an opportunity to work with her. Dan Brockington, ICREA Research Professor, ICTA, UAB
Jessica has supported us to design a series of Dialogue sessions delivered to colleagues in London. We wanted to introduce the practice to those already involved in DEI networks/initiatives at the firm as a way to bring a deeper sense of connection and conversation to our work in this space. This is no easy task in a corporate environment, but Jessica's deep knowledge of Bohm practice and excellent facilitation skills enabled us to create meaningful and thought provoking sessions which were positively received by participants. Jessica is wonderful to work with, she brings a fresh sense of creativity to her work and thinks deeply and sensitively about how to best engage people to bring the best out of group workshops. Cannot recommend her more highly! Talia Chirouf, Senior Inclusion Manager, Hogen Lovells
The card game approach she designed was innovative and engaging. Participants reported immediately after that it was “fun,” helped promote “cocreation,” enabled them to cement a “clear vision,” and facilitated team communication. “Using visualized cards made the discussion easier,” said one participant. Another partner noted, “very positive energy – we can use that to make change happen!” A third wrote, “The exercises served as equalizers – truly emerging as PEER learning.” In the post-event survey, we asked participants which activities they most enjoyed from the three-day event. The Theory of Change/Visions of Success activity was the most frequently cited. Throughout the event planning process, Jessica was organized, professional, and highly responsive to the needs of our team. This required patience and clear communication as the event design involved many different actors and institutions with different priorities. At the event itself, Jessica was energetic, engaged, and connected well with participants from across a variety of geographic and cultural contexts. I would recommend Jessica unreservedly as a facilitator and workshop designer. Rebecca McMillan, Environment and Development Specialist, IDRC
I had the pleasure to work with Jessica as the lead facilitator on a Science for Nature and People Partnership (SNAPP) project for which I am the PI. She did an excellent job facilitating two major workshops for us, one online and one in person. Her preparation and attention to detail were first rate. We had a large and diverse group of participants and some difficult and sensitive topics to work through. She demonstrated her ability to design and deliver effective processes to help us to achieve highly successful meetings. I would highly recommend her. Chris Sandbrook, Professor of Conservation and Society, University of Cambridge
I had the pleasure of working with Jessica while she was with the UN-REDD Programme. She was always great to work with and provided excellent knowledge management support and facilitation to our community of practice. Her expertise and know-how on this work came through not only in her guidance but also in the direct support she provided. In particular, the assistance she provided to our team in helping set up and then help facilitate our community of practice was excellent. This detailed support ranged from helping us design and set up the community of practice in an user-friendly but detailed manner, to also helping us attract new members, craft messages, launch e-discussions as well as keep engagement active. She is the best facilitator I have worked with. She is professional, proactive, solution-orientated, easy to work, communicative and very dependable. She thinks outside-of-the-box and fosters team work. I would highly recommend her and hope to work with her in the future. Elizabeth Eggerts, REDD+ and Gender Specialist, UNDP
I had the pleasure of working with Jessica on a large partnership workshop across organizations. She supported our team in the planning phase with her valuable input and knowledge of a variety of helpful tools. Her facilitation of dynamic large group and small group discussions was key in moving our partnership in the right direction. I look forward to working with Jessica again in the near future and highly recommend her for her planning skills, facilitation expertise, and professionalism. Nadia Alsadi, Agriculture Science Program Specialist, The Nature Conservancy
IUCN WCPA worked with Jessica as a facilitator at two events. Both events convened a diverse group of actors and addressed complex and technical issues. Jessica was a first class facilitator at both meetings and helped align different voices toward common goals and objectives. She helped us work through some hugely challenging concepts, providing a much needed broader perspective while keeping us grounded on the realities. Jessica's creativity was critical to adding a unique dimension to our discussions and brainstorming. Her patience and diligence contributed greatly to the success of these meetings. Her ability to adapt and change course is particularly valuable. We would highly recommend her as a facilitator and we look forward to working with her at the next opportunity. Madhu Rao, Chair, IUCN World Commission of Protected Areas
We first hired Jessica a year ago for an important global meeting for 130 project partners from 13 countries. On short notice Jessica immersed herself in the nuances of the project, and came prepared with a facilitation plan to meet our objectives. During a large-group planning session the evening before the meetings started, all our assumptions flew out the window. Jessica deftly handled the contentious session, pivoted to pull together a new plan for the following days' agenda, and shepherded the group through the meetings. Jessica is smart, responsive, and very skilled at navigating complex interpersonal and group dynamics. Based on this first experience working with her we decided to re-engage her for future project meetings. Her combination of sensitivity to values, excellent listening / observational skills, ability to learn quickly about a new program, and fearlessness make her an excellent facilitator. Devon Jenkins, Program Manager, Cornell University
I can’t thank you enough for the amazing facilitation skills you brought to working with me to design and deliver what I truly believe was our best away days yet. I also hugely enjoyed working together – I really like working collaboratively and creatively at pace, building on ideas, and I found it immensely stimulating and I learnt a lot. Susanna Eastburn MBE, Chief Executive, Sound and Music
Jessica put together and facilitated a series of very stimulating dialogues on different aspects of values for the UK Values Alliance which were very well-received and generated a lot of interest. She has a careful and unobtrusive facilitation style which allows the dialogue to flow naturally but prompts and steers deftly when needed. I would thoroughly recommend her to any group looking to explore, reflect, and gain valuable insights. Charles Fowler, Global Coordinator, World Values Day
Working with Jessica over the past few months has been an absolute delight.
She delivered a series of workshops for a cohort of 15 20-25-year-olds on a training programme we at Livity were running called Digify. It was easily one of the most enjoyable and important elements of their whole two months training. I noticed a greater sense of self awareness at work and amazing bond between the group which I really think drove directly from these sessions. I feel Jessica adopts a professional yet personal approach to her work with such a kind, open and calming manner, explaining dialogue concepts in an intriguing and intelligent way. I hope to work with her again and myself take part in some of her workshops! Thank you Jessica. Hannah Owen, Program Manager, Livity
